it feels like years since it's been here

 


The sun came and said "hello, i'm returning", just like the smile to my face at the thought of longer evenings and brighter mornings ........  and it went down slowly and waited around a  bit longer to walk home with me

neighbourhood


killing time past dusk in the local area brought about some wonderous lights of many colours, irridescent (love that word) from different angles and I remembered  another word I love which fits too
 in·can·des·cent/ˌinkənˈdesənt/
Adjective:
  1. Emitting light as a result of being heated.
  2. (of an electric light) Containing a filament that glows white-hot when heated by a current passed through it.

Waverly glass

 

On my way to England I stopped in the railway station foyer and looked up. Much to my surprise as part of the refurbishment to Waverly, the lightwell was covered with tarpaulins and it just looked so beautiful. A bit like a japanese umbrella I think
